Valencia Test: Team Triumph Italia BE1 Racing Still Double Quick!

The build up to the WSS is going according to the program, including two days of tests on Valencia circuit. In the test, Giuliano Rovelli's Team confirmed the good work done in Cartagena together with the development of the bikes. The test saw for the first time the team in full, with the new rider Mark Aitchison who has had the chance to verify the bike’s potential. A potential that the Australian rider was able to make the most of: after two days of testing he ended with a fastest lap of 1m38.5, seven tenths behind Ivan Clementi. Clementi turned out to be very quick: his time of 1m37.8 would have got him on the first row in last season’s world championship round.

Giuliano Rovelli, Team Owner: "We reported useful information to keep on our work. We are running again from the 23rd to the 25th of January on Almera circuit with the bike that is debuting in the WSS. It will be a highly interesting test since the Supersport Team Honda Ten Kate takes part".

Ivan Clementi: "It has been two important days to test the components such as the mono Ohlins and the experiment configuration of the Arrow exhaust. I feel so good with the Daytona 675 that it seems to be designed for me."

Mark Aitchison: "Throughout the past three days of testing in Valencia, I established an excellent rapport and working relationship with the team (BE1 Racing).   I felt the overall test was successful considering it was my first time working with both the bike and the team. They worked very effectively and were responsive to my input and suggestions for the development of the bike.  During the test we focused upon finding a suitable base for the suspension, geometry and tyre combination. We found a neutral setting for the overall bike setup and from here we have identified the key components we need to develop for the next test.  I am looking forward to getting back on the bike very soon and am eager to start the championship"
