Street Triple Wins Japanese Comparison Test
Friday, 25 January 2008

Motonavi organised a comparison test in Japan recently, at the Fuji International Speedway. The Japanese publication invited five top journalists to test 23 bikes and place them in order of preference. They tested two Triumph bikes: the Street Triple and the Tiger.
The results were fantastic! The Street Triple came in 1st place and the Tiger came 8th. A great achievement!
Here are some of the comments that the bikes received:
The Street Triple:
“The triple engine has fantastic sounds. It’s enough to buy it.”
“It’s the best handling bike for the short circuit like the ‘Fuji International Speedway’.”
“The performance of the Street Triple will be exerted on the public road. Triumph went all out to make it. I really understood the meaning of ‘Street’ Triple.”
“I decided on the Street Triple beyond every Japanese 600cc street fighters. The power delivery is supreme so that the feeling of oneness with the handling is very good.”
Tiger:
“It’s the number one bike for every scene. The triple engine has great torque and it’s easy to control.”
“Brilliant brakes and three-cylinder engine.”
“The new Tiger has fantastic character”
