BIAS-BELTED TYRES
A Triumph bias-belted tyre is manufactured using a tyre carcass and belt made up of one or more crossed layers. The carcass is made from textile cords coated into rubber and the belt is mainly made with nylon. The belt is used to help reduce dynamic deformation that occurs due to centrifugal forces.
