Black Sabbath Rat Run Sunday 6th September

Inspired by the Black Sabbath album cover, we will be meeting at North City Triumph Chigwell,leaving at 10am. Then a super ride out to West Wycombe to visit the Hell Fire Caves then onto Mapledurham to recreate our very own Black Sabbath Album Cover. Please note to get to the venue, a large part of the route will be on the motorway. See below for further details of the venue’s we will be visiting . . .

Hell fire caves are where you can venture to 300 feet underground through a series of hand carved tunnels and alcoves. Pass exhibits steeped in history which tell a fascinating story. There is also a café, the perfect place to stop and enjoy a coffee, cream teas or a famous Hell-Fire club sandwich & more. http://www.hellfirecaves.co.uk/

Away from the distractions of town, Mapledurham is an oasis of peace, natural beauty and history which is an ideal setting for a good day out. The watermill is perhaps best known for its starring role in the 1976 film, The Eagle Has Landed, It is also the backdrop in the image on the cover of Black Sabbath album.

In addition to our planned RAT calender we at North City Triumph have decided to take an “Easy Ride Sunday Morning” approach to our Rat runs which will take place from 10am at a Frankie & Benny’s across Essex & Suffolk most Sunday mornings. Please see below for our meet dates and address details. Frankie & Benny’s have started doing a very reasonable breakfast menu! With convenient parking facilities we think they are the ideal locations to meet up for some breakfast followed by a ride out in the area. To date we have met up at Colchester, Barking & Braintree throughout August.
