Winter 2006
September was speed run at Brighton. Great day and fun watching bikes and cars speed down the Madira Drive. Will go again next year.
October was paintball in Canterbury, actually it was not close to Canterbury, but the one nearer to London, so we missed the first hour and half. Sorry my fault. Nothing better then shooting paint at Truimph riders(especially at Bobby). So popular, will go again next year.
Summer 2006
This Summer we have had two ride outs. Firstly 23 of us descended to the factory for a day out and a tour. Once again I must thank Peter Clarke for looking after the boys. Bruno and Ben from the factory popped their heads in and said hello the Pack. This was followed a quiet lunch at one of the local pubs.
On our next ride out in August 10 of us went to the Ace Cafe. We had a nice dinner and spoke to some faithful Triumph owners.
Spring 2006
Since our last review. We have had two runs. The Ace Cafe run which ended in London at the Local Pub The lavender, at the back of Metropolis due to a serious downpour. The five of us stayed at the pub and had some great Thai food cooked by the chef Oak Gresophon. The boys decided that it would be great to go on the Southend run on the 17 April and cancel the motorcycle show. We all agreed after eating our green chicken curry with rice. We all try to convince Oak, to take a bike licence, so we can have our own personal chef on the rides, he replied, maybe one day. The rain stopped at about 10:00pm and we all headed home with our bellies full.
On 17 April, nine of us set of from Metropolis to Southend on a nice sunny day. Stopping at a Mcdonalds for lunch (nothing like Oak's food). On the A127 near Southend, we meet up with two girls and a man on old Truimphs, pre Hinckley. One of the R.A.T. members, started talking to the girls about their bikes. The rest of us agreed, that we were not sure whether he was more interested in there bikes or the riders! With doughnuts and tea flowing, we watched all types of bikes cruising along the coast road, with the pack finishing the afternoon with joining in cruising along the coast road. Late afternoon we headed back into South London via Greenwhich ferry.
